Take a Tour of Henryetta
The TravelOK Henryetta page is frequently updated by the Henryetta Chamber Tourism Chair to ensure visitors always have the most accurate and up‑to‑date information about our attractions, events, and community highlights.

Henryetta’s vibrant Main Street remains the heart of the community, with nine blocks of original 1904 storefronts still in use today. Visitors can explore a variety of family‑owned shops, boutiques, and professional services that have served the community for generations.
The Henryetta Public Library, located at Sixth & Main in the historic 1935 Post Office building, continues to serve as an intellectual hub for the community. The library offers public computers, a large collection of books and periodicals, and an obituary index dating back to 1903.
Just outside the library stands the historic “Spirit of the American Doughboy” statue, dedicated in 1925 as a memorial to local soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. It remains one of Henryetta’s most cherished landmarks.
Overlooking the valley is the two‑story home of town founder Hugh Henry. While not open to the public, it remains a meaningful reminder of Henryetta’s earliest ranching days.
The Henryetta Territorial Museum, located in a 1905 one‑room schoolhouse, is one of the city’s top attractions. The museum houses the Joseph W. Hardin photography collection and exhibits honoring 16‑time World Champion Cowboy Jim Shoulders, as well as other local historical artifacts. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with tours available by appointment.
Henryetta’s railroad heritage is honored with a restored caboose displayed near the former KATY depot site downtown.
During the warmer months, the Henryetta Farmers Market offers fresh produce and homemade goods, continuing a long tradition of local agriculture.
Golfers can enjoy the Henryetta Golf & Country Club, a scenic 9‑hole course offering over 6,000 yards of play. Non‑members are welcome, and no tee‑time reservations are required.
Henryetta’s parks offer abundant recreation, but the crown jewel is Nichols Park — a 300‑acre destination featuring Jim Hall Lake, playgrounds, picnic areas, a sandy swimming beach, fishing docks, disc golf, volleyball courts, and wooded hiking trails.
Nichols Park is also home to the annual PRCA‑sanctioned Living Legends Rodeo, held at the Jim Shoulders Living Legends Arena — a signature Henryetta tradition that draws visitors from across the region.
Families also enjoy the Henryetta Little League Complex, which hosts tournaments and events throughout the year, bringing thousands of visitors to the community.
